Bridal Photo Shoot

There is an immediate visceral attraction to bridal gowns designed by Anna Lang. Every time I enter her boutique shop: I am enamored by her creativity, her command of design, and her impeccable sense of style.  Her collection is a testament to her much deserved praise as one of Winnipeg’s top wedding gown designers. It was a privilege to photograph a few of these dresses with the collaboration of models, make-up artists, hair stylist, and creative professionals. We split the shoot into two session: in studio, and on location. In studio shoot took place at the Exchange District in downtown, Winnipeg. Here, we strove to capture the glamour of past trends by accenting the set with classic furniture pieces from the 50’s. The result was sleek, sophisticated, and traditional. We contrasted this with a more naturalistic, classic, and romantic look on the second session shot at Birds Hill Park. The back drop of the beach, grass, and trees was inspiring to work with, and the photographs were resplendent, here are few of my favourites.
